I missed ladytabitha's birthday yesterday, and asim's birthday the day before- Happy Birthday to you both! I hope your days were everything you'd hoped for. Belly dancing, and cats, and belly dancing cats!!!

I didn't mean to miss asim's birthday at all, in fact I was working on a story about how I met him, and a bunch of his oldest friends. I got caught up in other stuff though of course and haven't been able to go back to it. I will though, since it's another of those amusing little romps through my past filled with irony and goofiness. It was less for his benefit as to give that little section of my friends list a chuckle after that "how did you meet me" meme. ;) So in honor of having nothing cool for either of them, have the funniest result for "belly dancing cat" ;)


In other news, I am obsessing over whether or not Teflon coated cookware is safe- there was a report on the news the other day that sounded a lot like a report I'd heard that was also debunked a while back so I don't know whether to keep the stuff or not. It sure would thin out my kitchen like I'd like if it turns out to be a bad thing though, anyone have a clue? I've been googling, but can't find any actual studies...

When the teflon breaks down and you eat it, it's bad. I know that much. That's why you aren't supposed to use metal in those pans or scrub them too much or something. I have nothing to back this up with besides my brainiac husband. *laugh*
