1. What do you do for a living?
I stay home and bow to the whims of a toddler and attempt to clean a very small, very object filled house that also houses myself and another adult human, a cat, a dog, 2 fish, and some unseen rodents under the kitchen. I also make sure that the human has done all the necessary paperwork to keep posession of the house and all above mentioned people and animals (read: nagging). I work roughly a 106 hour week and I live at my place of business, so during my off hours I am usually still at work, and on call at all times.

2. What do you like most about your job?
My employers are both great- One is an entertaining toddler who is usually easy going, and extremely loving at times and provides many perks in the form of my being a constant focus of his loving attentions. I always feel needed. He is unrelenting is his pursuits of the perfection of his lifestyle at times, and can be a harsh critic, but his continued support fills my heart with glee. My other employer is also my best friend and husband in my off hours, and his company is always enjoyable. I also like thinking about ways to improve "the office" and thereby the experience I have working there. And you can't beat the commute.

3. What do you like least about your job?
My smaller employer is also a screaming maniac at times. I would rather tell someone else to clean than do it myself, and I've come to remember why I don't like children so much, even if it is my child... I hate screaming. I also don't like the long hours, and that when I go on vacation my job seems to come with me. The pay is a little light for the services I provide, and I wouldn't mind a couple "Employee of the Month" awards from time to time, and those don't seem to happen, at least not yet. We're still working on circles.

4. When you have a bad day at work it's usually because _____...
I am tired and K is an unreasonable toddler (read: normal) and I can't handle it, or I am depressed or feeling under-appreciated even though I really am appreciated.

5. What other career(s) are you interested in?
Lately I think I want to go into creative arts, but in the crafting field again. I want to explore making things for people, and seeing what kind of money is out there for that kind of stuff. Beyond that I think about returning to photo stuff again, though no more one-hour stuff. They won't take me seriously anymore. I hope to take something new on part time, as long as it doesn't increase the amount of hours I work per week. These hours will not be filled with additional childcare, that is for sure. I already have enough employers in that department :)
