I think #1 hasn't pooped since we got him, and he looks like he's trying, but his belly is starting to look really bloated, and he occasionally is doing a floating near the top thang... I don't think I over fed him, but I suppose it's possible.
I have fear. I think that's why I haven't named him yet.
#2 is from a nice pet store, had much cleaner water, and is in general a more perky fish from the get go. He's also INCREDIBLY lovely. I'll have to try to snap a shot of him later. He's mostly a blue/turquoise with red highlights. A beautiful boy...

Date: 2004-04-14 01:36 pm (UTC)I think he's going to be fine- he's actually very excited about #2- he's been flaring at him off and on since he got in his bowl! I am so pleased with them, they seem pretty happy as well. I hope I find some plants soon!
