Only 7 spaces left??

I can hardly believe it.. A couple months ago I was complaining that I'd shelled out for the permanent account, and then hadn't even gone to the trouble to max out my icons. Now I'm only 7 away from doing just that. How can it be?!?! I still want MORE ICONS!! I can't imagine only limiting myself to another 7, when I have another 30 in mind. *whimper*

But I know I am just being a loooooser, and I should really clean out some of the backlog of older icons I tend to not use as much anymore, but every time I try I get all misty about it and don't wanna. I'd post an LJ poll asking people to make choices for me (since I'm all about the life by committee when it comes to those tough decisions, like LJ icons) but that would be one entirely painful poll, even with a nice LJ cut to go along with it. So I ask you.. Please to have a quick meander through my icons, if you consider yourself at all opinionated about icons, and open to giving me some feedback about what's getting old and what's just GOTTA stay... I am clearly too sentimental about everything, even this.

yeah, I was realizing that on the getting old spectrum, they are up there.. As well as those avatar heads.. I think I won't even wait for comments to kill those! I might try to cut the bunnies to this one, and the running one. Maybe keep the fetal position until I find a good replacement since I hadn't had anything like that in mind..

You have many, many cat icons. Perhaps the one labelled "cats" (which I don't recall seeing) could go. Ditto Futurama, though I can't think which to cut...

Icons that I associate with you include: happy, "from Ingole", evil k, legs (and all the other bongsotckings pics ;) coffee zen, Trek dorks, and the Fairly Odd Parents ones.

I never delete old icons, I just rotate them.

Amusingly the ones you picked are the ones I probably use the heaviest, and would have a hard time replacing them with something that had the same kind of associations. I blame the fact that I often think in media references :D

And as for the cat icons.. Oh that's a tough one. That's like deleting icons of the kiddo.. Almost feels like I am being a bad mom, especially when I often find myself taking even more cute pictures of the cat and thinking about making those into icons. I might eventually solve that problem with making a bunch of cat icons into one big blinky...

Might I suggest that since uploading is so easy, you could just save on your hard drive many user pics and uplaod as neccisary?

I definitely keep everything on my hard drive, my problem is more that I can often still find a use for almost every single one of those, and a good load of ones I haven't even used yet, and a good load of ones I have in my head, and ya know, ones that haven't even been invented yet. I'm just entirely too addicted to the pretty pictures. In my perfect world, LJ would devote an entire server to just me having icons.. :D
