The Weather Machine..

I've been hitting refresh on the weather page I use regularly, and now it's finally revealed its secrets to me. THEY LIE when they say categorically that it might rain in the afternoon, because if you are smart and check the hourly stuff, you'll notice they don't actually think it's going to rain until 8.

Fuck.

I really don't want to go out there in it, to suffer. I'd go out there if I thought it would rain eventually, but not if I am just going to grill for a while. SOMEONE has been a little over the top with the begging for us to buy him things lately, so the mall seems like a less than great idea, and I've already been to one fast food restaurant with a play area today. Meh.

Maybe we need a rain dance.. Come on people, let's BOOGIE... :P

yeah, if I had a needed stuff, like a hose, and something to hook it to, I might try washing the car just to see if we can't speed this shit up a little bit! I wonder if going through a drive-thru one counts. I'd spend the $7 in the name of all our skins! :)

Yeah, the temperature drop I was holding out for apparently ain't coming. I'm severely disappointed.

It's supposed to come later.. If they are lying about that too, I might have to send them a flame or two about how it's not nice to tease us, especially those of us with cranky 5 year-olds. That's tempting a riot there...

Well, it's coming, but it's not gonna be the same. They projected a high of 20 for tonight at first. Now it's 26. That makes me a sad panda.

Yeah, I was hoping they'd be wrong about that, but I guess they have to cover their butts in case it doesn't rain at all, which at this point I'd also see as possible. I see a lot of sunshine for a potential thunder day. :P

It was spitting here a little bit a few minutes ago, but even that seems to have dried up. I want these crazy thunderstorms they are predicting, darnit. Do you have one of those Toronto-esque wading pools where you are? I took Tommy there for a few minutes this afternoon and that seemed to help.
