Random homesickness moments..

A bunch of stuff lately has had me being homesick for Seattle. I miss my friends (*waves to y'all*), and I miss the mountains, and all sorts of things.

And today I am extra stupidly sad because I finally went and read through my Flylady stuff, and it turns out Marla herself is going to be doing a little talk and book signing at a Borders in Redmond. *sigh* If I still lived out there, I would be totally stoked to go meet her and give her a high 5, and it would be extra lovely to go with some other flybabies I know out there who might be tempted by such silliness, but alas...

So, if any of you flybabies are going, please give her a high 5 for me, and try not to mention how often I whine.. ;)

Funny you said that. I have two others on my f list who have pros outweghing cons about moving to Seattle. I want all my lj friends to move there! You'd be close, but not too close! I still have yet to friend anyone in my city. Too much expectation to actually hang out.

I loved living in Seattle, I didn't really want to leave, but at the time the economy was killing us. It's a lot better now of course, so sometimes I wish we could move back, but now I think the lack of sunlight would kill me! I am really prone to the dark/sad thing. I would have to deal with that before I could really think it was a good idea. I miss the mild weather though, a lot. And oh the pretty pretty everywhere.. And the people.. It's just a great place.
