Got a place...

hippybngstockngYes, I did it, I jumped on the super-cute sexy kitchen place with the crappy bathroom. It's all good though because they agreed to deal with the tub issues, and we'll do the painting, and they'll clean some things, and that means it's beyond acceptable. Crash can learn to lean his head in the shower, or to love taking a bath, and we all have enough space to live in a pretty cool house with a very sexy beam kitchen. There's kids in 2 out of 3 of the apartments attached to us, and more down the alley, and I am pretty sure I saw a few more across the street. Lovely old looking neighbourhood, tall trees, nice yard, cuteness abounds, and I have a sitting porch in front!!! YAY for front porches!!
It's much bigger than our current place because we get full access to a big empty unfinished basement. We're thinking of using fabric and a staple gun and turning part of it into hang-out space because there's no AC, so we'll need someplace to stay cool. It's in an awesome location, close to all kinds of stuff and buses, and we can afford it and also having a car as long as we don't drive it a lot, hence the prime location being key, but nothing else is really that far away anyway. It's working out pretty well, all told, and I am paying the money and picking up keys on the 19th! We will hopefully be able to set up some moving action over the weekend, we're not strangers to strange and dirty moves, we'll adapt. Either way I should be out of here on time, for real, and not going to have to live in the car! Yay!

Sadly I won't be able to post any pictures yet, mostly because I forgot to take any except for outside. Later, I promise.
Forgive me if I go into super-duper-get-the-fuck-outta-dodge mode from now on, and stop paying much attention to the outside world. habibekindheart* Congratulations on another beautiful clone!!! :) I have happy and sad fuzzies going on about a lot of things I've read, but failed to comment and follow up on, so I hope everyone is doing okay. I look forward to being calm again, and back to writing here more, since I've got a backlog of things.. So. much. clogging...

New spaces are wonderful, it's just the moving part that sucks! But usually when you find a place you'd like ot move into, it motivates the packing of the old place. Good luck with it all, and pictures are a must!
