I wasn't going to say anything about what's going on in the world, then I was going to try to say something, but right now I don't think there's anything I could say. I'm thinking some things pretty loudly though, most of them about hope and doing the right thing and stuff, and I hope that energy gets where it needs to go.

The world doesn't make sense to me sometimes, I think I watch too much Star Trek...

Ditto. I've been at a loss for words since it happened. Everything I could say or do just seems cripplingly inadequate.

Although I did offer up my now-spare bedroom to an ex-fuckbuddy/friend I hadn't kept in contact with very well, since it looks like she'll have to move back to this area for at least a few weeks. She got out with three shirts and two pairs of pants.
