This is pretty much only going to be of interest to people who knit or crochet..

Anyone ever sew a lining into a purse? How about a "hard" lining to make the purse take a specific shape? I'm suddenly thinking of embarking on this, possibly using some of the copious amounts of plastic needlepoint card scraps I have. I could see that stuff being sewn either directly onto the inside of the bag before I put the lining in, or making it part of the lining. I don't have a book that describes the best way to do this though, and yeah, frenzy, stress, no time... I can envision it being pretty simple, but I'm frequently a dork.

So, anyone want to talk about linings? Beuller?

I see them doing linings on crafters coast to coast all the time but I am not expert but it's on HGTV if you have it

y'know i've never sewn a lining into a purse, but it shouldn't be too hard. i'd just turn the bag inside out and whip-stitch it. Since you want to use that plastic needlework stuff it shouldn't be hard at all.
