I'm in one of those "too stressed to deal" moods, so I am not going to post this thing wholesale, but instead link to fille_morte who has all the links you would need...

But I'll say a few words before I link you up-

Deal is that there's this artist who feels it necessary to kill cats in order to make art. Why she can't cut a deal with her local animal control or shelter to take their fresh corpses and use those is beyond me, but for some reason she chooses instead to target HEALTHY animals and kill them in the name of art.

I want you to think about this for a minute if you're saying to yourself "It's just a cat"...

So if someone told you they wanted to kill you so they could use your body for art, you'd say no, right? If you'd say yes, then I think you're weird, but that's your business....

What would you say if they didn't give you the choice? They just invited you over for dinner and then you woke up dead? That would suck, wouldn't it? Well, to me that is exactly what she's doing because cats are people to me. Whether she kills them humanely is so beyond the point it boggles my mind...

So please go read THIS and consider signing the petition.

I've also read an email from her spokesperson saying that "animals are killed everyday for food and clothes". I am just mad and disgusted at this witch. Serial killers begin this way, you know.

I am tempted to send her the really long ass things I've written about my cats, and how different, and deeply individual they have been. And how devastated I have been every time I lose one.

That is so fucking sick. It's one thing to make "art" out of pre-dead animals. But to fucking beat a cat to death with a stick and call it art? That's cruelty!! So, what, if I go beat some kid to death and call it art, they can't lock me up? *shudder with disgust* Petition signed.
