You can ask me 3 questions. Any 3 no matter how personal, private or random. I have to answer them honestly. In turn you have to post this message in your own LJ and you have to answer the questions that are asked to you. So go on...ask me any 3 questions...
I'll screen all comments by default - if you want your questions to be visible, say so in your comment. Otherwise, I'll keep them screened, and screen the answers as well.
EDIT: I've decided I don't care whether you reciprocate or not- you can ask me questions WITHOUT posting the meme if you care to... I'm just bored, I don't feel the need to ask other people questions. Again, ask me anything, ANYTHING...

Date: 2004-10-04 10:20 am (UTC)2. Of all the books you've read, which one is the one you've read the most often? Why do you re-read it? (Do you re-read it?)
3. Do you wear jewellery? If you do, why? If not, why not?

Date: 2004-10-04 10:49 am (UTC)2. I'm not as into reading as I used to be, and I periodically think I know why, but usually not. The only books I've ended up re-reading have often been because of a class I was taking, but I did re-read "A Canticle For Leibowitz" by Arthur Miller a number of times, as well as "Stars in my Pocket Like Grains of Sand" by Samuel R. Delaney. I highly recommend both, but realize that it could just be because of things I got out of them that changed the way I think about writing.
3. Yes, I wear lots of earrings that I leave in all the time, and I have a couple holes open in front for other earrings. I also like necklaces, bracelets and rings, but have never gotten the hang of wearing pins or other weird accessories. There are some days when I feel incomplete without some things on, just because I've become accustomed to the way I look with things on. A lot of times it depends on how much time I get before going out, and how much I care that day ;) If I care about how I look I might throw a couple things on. If I am in a hurry, I am lucky if my socks match. But if I take off the things I always have on I definitely feel naked and weird. Ironically, the same is NOT true of me and makeup- I NEVER wear that stuff unless I am feeling gross or like I have to...

3. If you have a basement, I would start there :) I've also had closets and bathrooms go nasty on me, and this one time my fridge had this thing behind it.... ;)
Plus, your eldest is now old enough that questioning him about ongoing secret science projects might be a good idea ;)

Date: 2004-10-04 06:48 pm (UTC)What is Quest?
What is the best way to become a Landed Immigrant (short of marrying a Canuk?)
Re: It had to be done...
Date: 2004-10-04 07:16 pm (UTC)Quest? er.... Context please? Do you mean PQ? If that's what you're wondering about- that would be Phoenix Quest, which is a friend's home-made role playing system which a bunch of folks I know have played and still play from time to time. Otherwise, the only other Quest I know of is a wireless company that might have gone out of business...
The best way I know to become a landed immigrant outside of marriage is to get a job here in order to be "sponsored" by an employer. I understand that in some cases this is pretty easy, and in other cases not so much because there's a rule that the employer is supposed to conduct a search to make sure there isn't a Canadian better suited to the job in question- it's whether they choose to enforce it that often makes the difference, and I honestly don't know how that works since I am getting it through marriage.
