I just looked closely, and the visiting cat is a boy, and he has been neutered, so my hopes that we just stupidly picked up some random neighbor cat is restored. However, I hope I find out it's an escape artist and not that he belongs to some asshat that lets their cat outside in a major city without a collar.

Sadie's collar falls off all the time. I should maybe get a better collar, but it's entirely possible that it was an indoor cat whose collar came off without frequent adjustment.

OK, adding new collar to my shopping list.

I have a collar that used to belong to Bitty. Not sure if it'll work on Sadie any better than her current one though.

look at you all up in that poor cat's personal bidness :)

My ex's cat used to take his collar off all the time. He was like the Houdini cat.

Just noticed!

I am sort of dense and rarely look at the list of folks who have friended me, and there you were. You are most welcome. My guess is that we're moms of autistic kiddos, right? Only mine is 22 and no longer qualifies as a kid, I guess, huh?

I read down in your journal just to see what kind of stuff you write about and I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling under the weather.

I'm starting to feel much better, thanks.

My old friend Nikki (tafkar) pointed me at you, actually :) I am a mom of an autistic kiddo, so that was why- I don't mind that yours has grown though, it's good to know they do grow up!

I absolutely promise. Of course, autism never ends. At this end of the growing-up, people are trying to tell me that I should "let go," that Raf needs to "sink or swim," that of course he should be in his own apartment. Which I THINK he wants for himself, but he's nowhere NEAR ready for. At every age, people think they know your kid better than you do, huh?
