For what it's worth...
Feb. 20th, 2004 01:30 pmI actually went and put something in my bio because I've been friending people somewhat randomly and felt I owed it to them to have some explanation there if they get to wondering who this random person is who just showed up without saying hi. I got to witness a rather interesting and amusing little flame war between a couple people who didn't do that recently, so I thought it best I put something there :)
Otherwise my general silence (other than the vigorous commenting I've been up to and the occasional one line or two) has been due to being in kind of a manic phase. I've been taking advantage of it to open up a can of whupass on the house. The boy's room is now all organized and more fun to play in, though I am on the verge of removing his closet doors both for his safety and to prevent the possibility of a need to replace them since he is working on destroying them. In putting the toy chaos in order it helped the rest of the house, as has the addition of some pictures on the walls finally.
There's more, but it gets boring and detailed after that, and I'm pretty sure if you aren't bored already you will be soon so I'll shut up about that now.
There've also been various updates about K of a more developmental nature, but I have about half a post relating to that somewhere that just needs finishing, but I am currently more interested in the house today than that.
I've been realizing that keeping up the house, as much as I hate doing it and have a hard time at it (mostly because of K), can be a big part of keeping myself from going completely insane. I will have to talk about it at some point though because it's been a funny realization that's involved a couple very amusing conversations between UC5 and I, and a web site someone pointed me towards. Stay tuned for domestic silliness :) Hopefully with pictures!
